Learn Spanish with Your Hands and Your Heart

Faith. Language. Culture. Fun.

At Como Se Dice, our mission is to help children fall in love with Spanish through connection, creativity, and joyful learning. Spanish is our focus, and we use American Sign Language (ASL) as a powerful way to help students remember what they learn and engage with it deeply.

Si yo como como como, y tu comes como comes. ¿Como comes como como?
Si yo como como como.

Why Spanish + ASL Works

We believe that learning a language should be interactive and meaningful. That’s why we pair Spanish instruction with ASL to:

  • Reinforce vocabulary retention with movement and visual memory.
  • Engage multiple senses to anchor new words more deeply.
  • Support clearer pronunciation and stronger grammar understanding.
  • Make learning more playful and accessible for all learners.

We teach from a place of faith, purpose, and love for culture.

Students don’t just learn words—they:

  • Explore Hispanic culture with music, art, storytelling, and games
  • Use their hands to sign, speak, and connect more fully to the meaning.
  • Grow in confidence as they use Spanish in real conversations.
  • Learn in a space that honors faith and celebrates diverse communities.

Inclusive design for learners of all levels

We move, laugh, act, create, and play—all while building solid Spanish skills. ASL adds energy and rhythm to our lessons, allowing every class to express, explore, and grow.
